Cultural Infusion

Chinese Chinese

The incursion was fabulous! Ting was interesting and engaging and played beautifully. We were all very impressed. Many thanks !"
Amy Howden, Moorabbin Primary School (VIC)

With documents and artefacts supporting the presence of musical culture as early as 1122 BCE, music was regarded as an integral contributor to the harmony and longevity of society. This workshop presents the origins of Chinese classical instruments and introduces traditional Chinese music. This is followed by a beautiful performance and an interactive workshop where participants learn a traditional song themselves!
