Yr 9 Students in Geelong After Dark

May 11, 2017

One of Victoria's regional cities, Geelong, had a one night event last Friday - Geelong After Dark (GAD).

Luckily it wasn't too cold and lots of people were out enjoying light shows, opera on the steps of the town hall, spooky experiences in the Wool Museum and lots more.

Congrats to the 4 Christian College Yr 9 students who aced the GAD theme of The Sound of Light with their deconstructed musical instrument installation. They recycled old/broken musical instruments - see the piano and guitars in the image above. The students were there on the night, explaining their project to passers-by. They had to apply to the GAD Committee and were the youngest participants. (Pictured above is one of the students, Taylor Beard, with SFS's Karen Keegan)

Very impressive!
