About the show
Bruce, a furry and lovable monster, and his friend Calvin, a cheerful local shopkeeper, navigate everyday challenges in their bustling joke shop. Alongside eight colourful puppet characters, the show explores key themes including resilience, problem-solving, managing emotions and building confidence.
Through songs, stories and fun-filled games, students watch Bruce work through setbacks and build resilience. Puppets regularly engage directly with the audience, inviting students to contribute ideas and help solve on-stage dilemmas.
Behind-the-scenes Q&A
At the end of the performance, students get the chance to ask questions and go behind the scenes of puppetry. Chris and Rob explain how the puppets are brought to life, giving students a fascinating look into the world of performance.
