An overview of the 2026 CBCA Book Week books, presented as an interactive show.
This show offers as broad a view of this year's nominees as possible, to encourage children to read ALL the 2026 books and celebrate all the authors. By the end of the show, you'll want to get your hands on as many books as you can - and even act them out yourself. Our show is a celebration of both reading and participation in performance.
The performance encourages participation in drama and promotes reading. With the help of simple props and costumes, your students become the stars of the shows! All our shows contain positive messages about friendship, sharing, self-belief and tolerance. Various acting techniques are employed - music, poetry, puppetry, mime, song and narration - to encourage the students.
