Two presenters deliver an 80 minute session where children learn the four different types of stilts (demonstrated), the history of stilt walking, how to tell what stilts a performer is wearing when they are in costume.

They wear two different costumes which are broken down entirely in front of the group. One of the costume is an inflatable stilt costume, and the children learn how this is made and get to feel the weight of the batteries.

Finally the children get to have a go on stilts which you step on to and lift with your arm. This is fully supervised, so only a couple of kids get to attempt stiltwalking at a time.

This is an indoor session.
